We hope that you and your families are all doing well during the pandemic and we thank you for working with us through these troubling times. We are pleased to announce that we have obtained a new yard location at 70 Southern Blvd. in Nesconset where we will manage the Smithtown big bus routes from. This new property is conveniently located in the Smithtown school district and will provide a more favorable area to work from.

We are still in the process of setting up the terminal so we ask for your patience during the startup period. We are also in the process of obtaining permits to install fuel tanks on the property and anticipate a response from the Town in the near future. During the waiting period, we will continue to use Islandia to fuel these buses.

To provide additional improvements, the property is being renovated to include ample parking for employee’s cars, but as with the fueling station, this too may not be ready in time for the September start-up. Drivers will be required to park in their assigned bus spot until the parking lot renovations are complete. We will also have yard jockeys available to help manage traffic flow. Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to reopening.

We look forward to seeing you all back in September and another successful school year!
