The New York Association For Pupil Transportation (NYAPT) is looking for entries for their 2021-2022 Safety Poster Contest. The contest is open to
any school bus driver, monitor, and attendant driving for public, parochial, or other private elementary schools that are a member of their local chapter of NYAPT as well as students in Suffolk County, New York.
Poster themes must be original and the exclusive work of the student entering the contest in idea, design, and execution. A poster slogan must harmonize with the theme “1 Bus + 1 Driver = a Big Impact on Education.” The completed poster size must be 11” x 17” or 12” x 18” and may only be illustrated vertically or horizontally.
Completed student poster designs must be postmarked before midnight, December 17, 2021, or hand-delivered by 4:00 p.m., that same day. All entries become the property of NYAPT Suffolk County Chapter and may not be returned.
Completed NYAPT member poster designs can be drawn anytime between September 2021 and January 15, 2022, up to the deadline to submit an entry. All posters and related intellectual property rights become the property of the New York Association for Pupil Transportation and The American School Bus Council upon receipt and are not returned to the artist. Posters that may have been used for any promotional purposes may not be submitted.
In both contests, prizes will be awarded for 1st Place ($100), 2nd Place ($75), and 3rd Place ($50).
