PROPOSED SCHOOL BUS CAMERAS WOULD CAPTURE DRIVER VIOLATIONS

WE Transport parent company Beacon Mobility recently demonstrated a new school bus camera technology for CBS News Boston that would make it safer for children to ride the school bus. This technology, which is designed to capture vehicles that don’t stop for buses with their lights on and ultimately take action against that driver, is currently being considered by legislators across the country.

This free service uses cameras to capture anybody who would potentially pass a school bus. Then, after law enforcement reviews the photo and spots a violation, the bus company then sends a fine to the driver.
