Please be advised that The Suffolk County Chapter of the New York Association for Pupil Transportation (NYAPT) is offering a total of three scholarships this year. These Scholarships are open to graduating seniors whose parents or grandparents work within the School Transportation Industry for a Contractor or District who is an active member of the Suffolk Chapter in good standing.
The Nesco Scholarship, sponsored by Nesco Bus, requires the student have a 90 GPA. There are also two Reichenbach Family Scholarships which are open to students with a 75 GPA or higher. Each scholarship has its own application. Any student wishing to apply for both scholarships is eligible to do so as long as they meet the GPA requirements. Also, each application requires its own essay.
Failure to complete the appropriate application and essay will prevent a student from being eligible for consideration for a scholarship. Please remind the students that neatness counts!
